植え替えをする理由：1（原種下仁田ネギ）
7月下旬から8月の中旬にかけて、下仁田ネギは植え替えをします。
真夏の太陽にギンギンと照らされながらの植え替え作業はとても大変です。
え、・・なんで植え替えをするのかって・・・・
それはたくさんの理由があるのですが、大きく分けて次のようなものです。
1：ネギの病気よけのため
2：生育補助のため
3：効率のよい収穫のため
では、今回は張替えをする理由1：「ネギの病気よけ」について書きます。
野菜はいろいろな病気にかかりますが、ネギもネギ特有の病気にかかります。
例えば、赤さび病などと言いますが、葉の部分に茶色い小さな固まりのようなものが出来ます。
これがはじけると、中から花粉のような粉が舞い飛び、伝染していくのです。
この病気にかかり、放っておくとたちまち畑中のネギの葉が真茶色になってしまうのです。
また、他の病気もありますが、植え替えをする事によってネギ自身が病気にかかり難くなるのです。
